On behalf of the members and staff of Gleneagles Country Club, we look forward to serving you as a guest at our Club. Whether you are here for a day, a week, or a few hours, it is our goal to exceed all of your expectations and help you to make the most out of your time at the club. The Club kindly requests that all guests be aware of, and adhere to, all club policies, including applicable dress code requirements. Please contact your host member if you have any questions.

All guests must have prior authorization to enter Club property. Gleneagles Security policy requires all visitors, guests, and contractors to present a valid Driver’s License for entry. Guests are required to utilize valet parking at the Main Clubhouse.

Dress Code

  • Legends Dining Room Dress Code
    • Daytime Casual

      • Men: Shorts, slacks, jeans and shirts.
      • Women: Shorts, slacks, skirts, jeans, blouses and shirts. Women are permitted to wear hats.

      Country Club Casual

      Sunday through Thursday evenings
      • Men: Dress slacks, collared shirts and denim garments.
      • Women: Skirts, dresses, slacks, dress shorts, Capri’s, and denim garments. Women are permitted to wear hats.

      Evening Casual

      Friday and Saturday evenings
      • Long-sleeved or short-sleeved collared shirts with buttons all the way down the front of the shirt are required for men and young men 13 years of age and older in season.
      • Denim & Polo shirts are not permitted. Certain events may require a jacket or jacket & tie for gentlemen, including young men. Consult your monthly calendar/Eagle for special evenings.

      The following applies at all times for everyone, including children under age 13:
      • Men are not permitted to wear hats at any time. Appropriate religious headwear is permitted at all times.
      • Tee shirts with logos and/or other printing are not permitted in the evening.
      • The following are not permitted at any time: tank tops, cover-ups, swimwear and leotards, sweatbands or towels, extremely short shorts, frayed clothing or bare midriffs.
      • Spikeless golf shoes are permitted.
      • Medical Uniforms or Scrubs are not permitted at any time.
  • Legends Lounge Dress Code
      • Sunday through Thursday November 1-April 30: Daytime Casual up to 7:00 p.m. and Country Club Casual thereafter.
      • Sunday through Thursday May 1-October 31: Daytime Casual.
      • Friday and Saturday: Daytime Casual up to 6:00 p.m. and Country Club Casual thereafter.
  • Veranda Dress Code
    • Day and Evening Casual

      • Men: Shorts, slacks, jeans and shirts including Polo Shirts permitted.
      • Women: Shorts, slacks, skirts, jeans, blouses and shirts including Polo shirts permitted. Women are permitted to wear hats.

      The following applies at all times for everyone, including children under age 13:
      • Men are not permitted to wear hats at any time. Appropriate religious headwear is permitted at all times.
      • Wet attire is not permitted.
      • Tank tops and sleeveless shirts are not permitted for men. Lycra or spandex shorts, running shorts and leotards are permitted only at the Poolside Patio and Putting Patio
      • Spikeless golf shoes are permitted.
      • Medical Uniforms or Scrubs are not permitted at anytime.
      • Veranda patrons are permitted to utilize the Legends Lounge at any time to access the restrooms. While in the Legends Lounge, patrons who are not dressed in the appropriate Legends Lounge dress code are not permitted to order drinks from the bar or sit with members.
  • Grille Room and Glen Bar Dress Code
    • Day and Evening Casual

      • Men: Shorts, slacks, jeans and shirts including Polo Shirts permitted. Men are not permitted to wear hats at any time. Appropriate religious headwear is permitted at all times.
      • Women: Shorts, slacks, skirts, jeans, blouses and shirts including Polo shirts permitted.
      • Medical Uniforms or Scrubs are not permitted at anytime.
  • Golf Dress Code
      • Only soft spike, spikeless golf shoes or sneakers may be worn on the practice facilities and the golf courses. Change of footwear should take place in the locker rooms.
      • Men and junior male golfers should wear generally accepted golf attire only which includes: long trousers, knickers, Bermuda or walking shorts. Shirts must have collars and sleeves. Long and short sleeve mock turtleneck sweaters or shirts are acceptable. Shirt-tails must be worn tucked in (except for banded bottom shirts).
      • Women and junior female golfers should wear generally accepted golf attire which includes: golf shorts, slacks, Bermuda or walking shorts. Women’s tops must have either a collar or sleeves.
      • The following articles of clothing are inappropriate: short shorts, bathing suits, T-shirts, undershirts, blue jeans, halter tops and tube tops.
  • Tennis Dress Code
    • All players must wear generally acceptable tennis attire including tennis shoes, shirts, shorts, or skirts at all times. All tennis clothing and shoes sold in the Pro Shop are acceptable. Cutoffs and jeans are not permitted. Collared shirts are recommended for men however, collarless tennis shirts with Gleneagles or other club logos are permitted. No lettering larger than 4x4 with manufacturer’s logo. Collarless shirts containing advertising messages or graphics are not permitted. All men’s shirts must have sleeves.
