Meet the Trainers

Karen Mikus

Karen has been a personal trainer at Gleneagles since 1999 and is certified with the American Council on Exercise (ACE), TRX, golf conditioning and Pilates training. Karen is involved in the Healthy Lifestyle Program at Gleneagles and has introduced fitness programs and many educational and lecture series. Her ultimate goal is to help members live happier and healthier lives.

Victor Noriega

Victor has been a personal trainer at Gleneagles since 2012. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotion from Florida Atlantic University. Working with members, Victor decided to change his direction from continuing education classes to what would serve members best. He now has an advanced certification in Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) and Functional Movement Systems (FMS), a screening process that identifies functional limitations and asymmetries. Victor is also a Crossfit Level 1 and YSAW sports performance coach. He is now working towards a license in Massage Therapy.

Lynda Edwards

Lynda has been a personal trainer at Gleneagles since 2013, although she has been working as a personal trainer for 21 years. Lynda is certified with the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). Lynda enjoys working with seniors and has training specific to their age group incorporating strength, balance and stability in her training sessions. Lynda is also TRX certified.

Dana Horwitz

Dana has been a National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF) certified personal trainer for 11 years. In 2008, Dana obtained a degree as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA). She then became certified by the Aquatic Therapy and Rehabilitation Institute (ATRI) to work with clients that are unable to work on land. On land or in water, Dana is able to provide rehabilitative personal training services for building strength, flexibility and endurance.

Louis Scorzello, Jr.

Louis joined Gleneagles in 2016 after earning both his Master's and Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Miami and is certified by the American Council of Sports Medicine (ACSM) in personal training and National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). Louis is looking forward to sharing his knowledge and experience with Gleneagles members where he will work to improve health and wellness for all of his clients.

Francisco Rivera

Francisco graduated from Palm Beach State College as a Massage Therapist in 2014. He holds an advanced certification in Active Isolated Stretching (AIS). Francisco’s main goal is to help people achieve their level of health and fitness through the means of proper stretching promoting full range of motion to joints.
