Joe DeMino has been the Director of Golf at Gleneagles Country Club since July 2010. Originally from Rochester, New York, Joe owned and operated a club there for 20 years. He relocated to South Florida in 1999 where he was the Head Professional at the Country Club course at the Boca Raton Resort & Club from 2001 to 2010.

Joe’s love of golf is inherited – his father was a PGA member for more than 50 years. Joe has been a PGA member since 1992 and has experienced much success in local and national tournaments. He has qualified for 3 national PGA Championship’s, has made 11 hole-in-one’s and he holds 5 course records!

Joe is a PGA certified instructor and enjoys teaching students of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Although he was taught to play golf right-handed (by his father, a PGA Pro for more than 50 years), Joe is really left-handed and he especially enjoys teaching other lefties! Joe has been married to his wife Karen for over 20 years, and they live in Lake Worth. Joe is the proud Dad to two great kids – Weston and Katlyn. Joe helps coach Katlyn’s Girl Scout Troop and Soccer team. Weston is in college.

A Florida native, Paul fell in love with golf as a teenager. Paul attended Brevard Junior College and the University of Florida. After playing collegiate golf, Paul played golf professionally for 2 years prior to moving back to South Florida in 1998 to begin his career as a country club Golf Professional. Paul brings over 17 years of experience in the golf industry and is an active member of the PGA since 2007. Paul began his career at the Polo Club of Boca Raton as a 1st Assistant Golf Professional, and was the Head Professional at Parkland Golf & Country Club for 9 years prior to joining the Gleneagles team. Paul has won multiple 5 Star awards for service and was the mentor for the Golf Professionals within the WCI Communities Amenities Program. Paul enjoys sharing his passion for golf and teaching with his members and the staff. Paul resides in Wellington with his wife, Desiree and his two daughters Peyton & Kendyl. Paul’s daughters both are in Competition Cheer and compete on a national level.

Brian Midgett, Assistant Professional/Tournament Coordinator

Brian joined the Gleneagles team in August 2008 as the 1st Assistant Professional. Before arriving at Gleneagles, Brian was the Director of Instruction at Indian Springs Country Club. He is a graduate of West Virginia University where he played for the Mountaineers baseball team. His experience playing professional sports has provided him with a wealth of knowledge that he shares with our members every day. In addition to helping members improve their golf games, Brian coordinates all of the tournaments at Gleneagles, including league and outside charitable events. Brian lives in Boynton Beach and is a proud father to daughter, Ava.
