Pickleball

The game that is taking South Florida by storm is now a big part of the Gleneagles rackets program. With 8 beautiful night-lit Pickleball courts, members can enjoy both competitive and social open play with players of all skill levels, mixing and matching for a great workout and lots of camaraderie.

Weekly Events

A weekly Pro-organized round robin is part of the fun and the Pros are always available for a complimentary introduction to the game. Come on out and see what all the racket is about.

Pickleball Under the Lights

Pickleball Under the Lights is offered weekly for organized round robin play. Enjoy pickleball in paradise after the sun sets.  

Train Like a Pro

Pickleball players can always improve regardless of age, background, or physical restrictions! The USPTA certified instructors at Gleneagles have a wealth of experience to assist in technical fundamentals, tactics, and fitness. Members will benefit from one-on-one private instruction, doubles teamwork instruction, hitting lessons, or group clinics.

Mike Puc was hired as the Director of Tennis at Gleneagles in 1996. Prior to joining the Gleneagles team, he worked at the Timuquana Country Club in Jacksonville and at Ibis Golf & Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens. Mike earned a Bachelor’s in English and Psychology from Flagler College. He has played on the ATP tour and achieved a world ranking.

Scott Harper comes to Gleneagles most recently from Roanoke Country Club. Scott has also served as a Tennis Professional at the Greenbrier Resort, WV and was the Tennis Director at Edgewood Country Club and Berry Hills Country Club, both in Charleston, West Virginia. Scott obtained his undergraduate degree at Fairmont State University where he twice competed in the NAIA National Collegiate Championships, and later was a USTA 5.0 National Semifinalist.
