All About Gleneagles

Our Club. Our Home.

Gleneagles Country Club is a private, residential country club community with 1,082 homes and condominiums surrounding world-class social and sports amenities, including two 18-hole championship golf courses, 19 Har-Tru night-lit courts, 8 Pickleball courts, and an over 90,000 square foot clubhouse with 3 restaurants and 2 lounges. The club boasts a new, two-story, 15,000-sq. ft. Healthy Lifestyle Center that features a state-of-the-art fitness center, spa, physical therapy services and resort-style pool complex and was recently ranked #13 nationally by Club and Resort business for Top Ranked Fitness Centers.

Our History

Established in 1984, Gleneagles was originally home to six of the greatest legends of golf: Gay Brewer, Billy Casper, Doug Ford, Bob Goalby, Doug Sanders and Sam Snead. These players not only called Gleneagles home, but they were engaged by the developer as resident tour professionals to travel around the country to spread the word about Gleneagles. In 1986, the club hosted a Senior PGA Tour event that was highlighted not only by our resident tour professionals, but also iconic golfers Gary Player and Arnold Palmer. In addition, tennis greats Ivan Lendl and Steffi Graf also called Gleneagles home and were drawn to the club by the opportunity to train on the tennis center’s original grass courts.

Construction progressed through the 1980s, and on July 1, 1989, the developer turned over the club to the members. For the past 33 years, Gleneagles has been operating as a private, not-for-profit, member owned country club.

Testimonials

The Maron Family

Jennifer Maron, who is the daughter of a longtime member, has been a part of the Gleneagles family since she was 15 years old in 1990 when her parents purchased in Gleneagles. “As a family, we enjoyed tennis, exercise, wonderful meals and of course yummy matzoh ball soup and lemonade everywhere,” remarks Jennifer. These wonderful memories are what prompted Jennifer and her husband Eran to purchase their own home in Gleneagles after the passing of her father. Jennifer and Eran have five children, Sofia (19), Selie (18), Nate (14), Benny (5), and Evie (4). “My father, Mr. Jay, as the club staff affectionately called him, epitomized country club life. He had so many friends, including all the staff, and always had a big smile, heart, and love for the club. When I come to my own condo years later, down the street from my mom, I feel so close to my dad and his love for the club. I am grateful to share these memories and make new memories with my family!” states Jennifer.

The King Family

Ana King joined the Gleneagles family first as an employee in 2001 and became a member in 2021. After getting married to Aaron and having two kids, and working full time at Gleneagles for 17 years, she decided that she needed a more flexible schedule and went into real estate full time, becoming both a Realtor and a Broker. In 2021, Ana and her family became members and Gleneagles has become the family home. As full members, the King family is taking full advantage of all the club has to offer. Dining, golfing and exercising have become a family affair, and having access to these facilities on-site has been incredibly convenient, with both Ana and Aaron working full time and balancing activities and schoolwork with the kids.

Ana says, "Gleneagles is a great place to live and raise my kids. The kids love Pickleball, we are all trying to learn golf, and we all enjoy spending time with family and dining at the club. Having all these amenities so close to home allows the whole family to enjoy them."

Sherm Ershowsky

"After renting in Gleneagles for almost a year I decided to buy. It wasn’t a hard decision. In the year I have been here everyone has been so welcoming and helpful. The staff have all been wonderful. From those that I have met personally at the golf club, tennis club and fitness club, to those that work in the restaurant and bar. I have even found the maintenance crews to be very friendly. When I have been on the golf course, and able to hit a good golf shot, which isn’t that often, the golf course maintenance crews that were around gave me a thumbs up. I also truly appreciate the membership staff who have been very helpful in my transition from renter to owner. Even the big wigs like Kraig and Nick are just really down to earth nice guys. I look forward to a long, long happy time here at Gleneagles.”

Patricia and Stan Grayson

“My Husband Stan and I purchased a condo in 2014, after visiting New York friends who have lived year-round in Gleneagles for over a decade. We were captivated by the stunningly beautiful grounds, the amazing golf course vistas and the many club activities. We appreciate the variety and style of the three restaurant venues and the wide range of cuisine options that they offer. Stan loves golf, I have embraced the fitness center and the special events and we both enjoy the friendly and welcoming atmosphere at Gleneagles and the attentive, friendly, highly professional and deeply knowledgeable staff.”
